Time will heal |
It's a Corona Virus Christmas. It is a sad and troubling time. I am trying hard to find something good in each day. And to hold back my anger and anxiety.
It has been a while since I was last on my website/blog. Health issues and a big move from our 110 year old home to a new apartment that overlooks an historic river made it necessary; and even so, it took a lot out of us emotionally. But we've accepted the change and we have made it our home.
I hope to continue to add to my blog as often as I can now.
As for now, I am adding two favourites photos - one of our old Christmas ornament of a clock and another photo I took a few years ago on the street where our old home still stands. I hope the new owners love it as much as we did!
We are lucky to have found a comfortable new home so high up in an eagle's nest, where I can almost touch the stars.
Please, my dear friends, have yourself the best Christmas you can manage. Stay safe. Wear masks. By next year, Christmas will be a better experience.
Go for quiet walks at night and look at the lights, read books that raise your spirits, give to charities and to the support for hospitals, and for the people who are saving lives every day.(Even the smallest amount will help).

Maybe This Christmas
Lyrics by Ron Sexsmith
Maybe this Christmas will mean something more,
Maybe this year, love will appear
Deeper than ever before
And maybe forgiveness will ask us to call
Someone we love
Someone we've lost
For reasons we can't quite recall
Mmm, maybe this Christmas
Maybe there'll be an open door
Maybe the star that shined before
Will shine once more, ohhh
